Ebunlobinrin Foundation hosted 1,500 Queens, Female Government Functionaries, LG/LCDA First Ladies.

It was a glamorous afternoon yesterday 14th of December 2017 as Hon. Queen Temitope Grace Okoya, President of the prestigious Foundation, Ebunlobinrin hosted a thousand and a half women of substances in Ogun State in one of its kind event “ASA WA” Women in Position Conference.

According to Queen Okoya, “ASA WA” was packaged by the Foundation to sensitize, and educate women on importance of Moral and Values. The colourful event was gingered by educating entertainments from popular artists and theater groups like ACE, Everlasting Theater Group,Oba Iyanu, Big Sam Production,  others.

Speakers are the event are Hon. (Mrs) Abiola Kufile Okonji (Ogun State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Chief (Dr.) Anuoluwapo A.Bankole (Proprietress, Mercy Land Group of School) and Mrs Olajumoke Olatunde (A Veteran Nollywood Actress, Popularly Known as Jumoke George). who spoken extensively on the following topic respectively:“Government positions in rehabilitating the almost collapsed building of moral and values inNigeria; Modeling, the way out of moral and values’ degradation” and “Women roles in reshaping our cultural degrading society”.

Other important activity of the event was the unveiling and crowning “PRINCESS ASA”, A 17 years old student of Philosophy from Olabisi Onabanjo University. IfeOluwa Adeola, was unveiled, crowned and awarded a covetous grand prize of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) as the ambassador of “ASA WA” (Our Culture) for One Year.

Commenting the event, Chief Muyiwa Oladipupo, Ogun State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism lauded Ebunlobinrin Foundation for touching the important issues, He urged the foundation not to relent on her effort of empowering the women intellectually among others.
